Template:InfoboxMax finds himself in the basement of the hotel where he shoots through more mobsters and finds a daed body tied to a chair with a baseball bat and a Captain Baseball Bat Boy comic strip nearby.
Eventually he finds Rico Muerte at the bar with Candy Dawn, and they start a gunfight so max kills them. After shooting the remaining mafia, he escapes the hotel, looking for Jack Lupino.

On the PS2/Xbox version, this level is divided up into three parts: Caught in the Crossfire', Rico Muerte Big Time Hustler and 'The Blood Veins of New York.
