Sam Lake is a Finnish writer. On the first two games he worked as the main writer. He is also one of the founders of Remedy Entertainment. The name Sam Lake is just a nickname, and an english reference to his real name.
The games
Even though Sam was a writer, he helped to design levels. His face was used as the model of Max Payne's face.
Trivia
- Sam acted as Max Payne in the graphic novel cutscenes, because Remedy didn't have enough money to hire real actors.
