Roscoe Street Station is a subway station located somewhere in New York, during the first Max Payne game and in the movie and is located near Roscoe Bank.

Game
Max arriving at the station
At the begining of the game (excluding the prologue), Max gets a call from B.B. informing him that he must meet up with Alex Balder at Roscoe Street Station.
However, when Max arrives he finds an empty platform and the gate that leads out is locked, so he goes through a personnel door to find some dead security.
The station becomes under attack by the Mafia, who are trying to break into Roscoe Bank and steal Aesir Corporation bonds.
In search of Alex, Max kills many mobsters and makes his way to a control room, where he switches on a train and uses it to break through a wooden barrier and discovers an old, abandoned part of the subway where he encounters more mobsters and some explosions.
Once Max enters the bank via a tunnel, blasted through by the mob, he reenters the subway carring detonators which he uses to blast through a welded shut door, and finally finds Alex, who is murdered shortly after and Max is framed. Max then kills the remaining mobsters and leaves the station.

Movie
Following a lead given to him by an informat, Max visits Roscoe Street Station to interrogate three Valkyr Junkies about the death of his wife.
Max ingores them as he walks past and heads into the bathroom. The Junkies, who are after Max's watch, follow him in an attempt to mug him.
One of the Junkies pulls out a gun, but Max disarms and knocks him out and the other two panic. One of them runs out into the tunnel and is killed by a train, while the other trys to hide in a cubicle, but Max shoots the lock off and interrogates him.
