Nothing But The Second Best is the second chapter in Max Payne 3.

Plot

Max heads via helicopter to a party in Club Moderno with Fabiana, Giovanna, Marcelo and Raul. When they arrive at the club, Max heads out to buy himself a drink along with Marcelo, who is mad about getting the other spots in the VIP lounge due to Galations soccer star Claudio. Soon after, a group of Comando Sombra kidnappers led by the gang leader Serrano kidnaps both Fabiana and Giovanna. Max is forced to fight his way as he saves Marcelo's life by bodyslaming a member through the glass after the member shoots Claudio in the head. Max must find a way to the girls through the nightclub building and later manages to get back to helicopter and protects Giovanna from Commando Sombra trying to attack and kill her, providing covering fire from the helicopter. Giovanna is eventually saved, but Fabiana was taken away.
