Max Payne's apartment complex, located in New York City, is where Max Payne lives in 2003, after previously living at the Payne Residence. Payne lives in apartment 304.
Here, Mona Sax meets Payne to tell him that he is marked for death, immediately before the building is attacked by the Cleaners. Soon after, Max's apartment is blown up. Payne discovers that the Cleaners had mapped out his apartment, kept him under constant surveillance and wiretapped his phone.
After getting the assistance of some of the residents, Payne manages to successfully repel the attack.
