After the Fall[]
Following the events of Max Payne 2, in which Max's NYC apartment was destroyed by the Cleaners, it can be assumed that Max moved into this apartment in Hoboken, NJ.
Events of Max Payne 3[]
Meeting Passos and killing DeMarco[]
After killing Tony DeMarco and the shootout in Walton's Bar Max and Raul go to his apartment around the corner. After walking in, Passos immediately criticizes Max's way of living before trying to talk him into private security work with him. But before he could make a decision he could hear Anthony DeMarco outside threatening Payne. Passos then proceeds to leave with Max taking cover by the door. They both eventfully leave the apartment once and for all.
Appearance[]
The apartment is very small and dingy with multiple pizza and Chinese boxes litter the room along with beer and whiskey bottles. The apartment itself comprises of one room spilt into three sections, a living area with a couch, tv, and a coffee table, a kitchen area with a fridge and stove, and a small fold out bed in a small section behind the living room with a wardrobe and nightstand. To the left of the main entrance is a very small bathroom which is very filthy and old.
