The M972 is a small SMG that is unlockable in the first tier of unlockable weapons. Its high rate of fire allows for quick kills at close range, however due to its small magazine it must be reloaded often. After weapon level 6 it can be dual-wielded, but is best dual-wielded with a pistol.
