The M972 is a small SMG that is unlockable in the first tier of unlockable weapons. Its high rate of fire allows for quick kills at close range, however due to its small magazine it must be reloaded often. After weapon level 6 it can be dual-wielded, but is best dual-wielded with a pistol. Its poor construction is due to the fact that it is made out of legos and if it is used for a melee attack it will burst into thousands of lego blocks that must be reassembled before firing again. This is a huge disadventage in combat, however because of the plastic construction it is very light weight. Also avoid using near burning barrels and cars as this will cause the gun to melt, rendering it useless. All in all it is a decent SMG to start out with. The golden gun version of the M972 is actually assembled out of 24K gold legos making the weapon incredibly heavy, dual wielding is only acchieved by wearing a rigid backbrace and a pair of supporting hydraulic robot arms will be seen being worn by the player. It is a close resembelance to the cargo loader used in the movie Aliens. This does hamper movement quite a bit and disables the bullet time, and quick roll function. |
