Kyra Silver is a character featured in Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Silver is a radio and television news reporter.
In Max Payne
She reports on Max Payne's progress at various points throughout the game via radio or television sets that Max can listen to/watch during stages of the game.
She interviews Police Chief Jim Bravura briefly as Bravura comments on the Max Payne situation.
She also broadcasts the weather occasionally.
In Max Payne 2
Kyra makes a few brief on-TV in Max Payne 2. She is first seen on TV in the chapter In the Middle of Something, speculating that Max helped Mona Sax escape from police custody and stating that the police are conducting an investigation on Max's ties with Mona. During the last chapter of the last act, That Old Familiar Feeling, Silver comments on the events of Max Payne 2 thus far and reports that the injured Bravura is in a stable condition.
