Golden Guns is a feature in Max Payne 3. Each gun needs three pieces, which are scattered across each level of the story. When all three parts of a specific gun are collected, that gun becomes golden whenever picked up and can also be golden within multiplayer via weapon customization options.
Description
Golden Guns turn your weapons golden, thus increasing damage of any gun by 10% or increasing the amount of ammunition in the magazine. The effect depends on the weapon.
Behind the scenes
- Max Payne 3 is the second Rockstar game to feature golden guns, the first one being Red Dead Redemption.
- Once all the golden parts are collected within the game, this enables the "Unlimited Ammo" cheat in the story mode.
