The Galatians FC is a soccer team of São Paulo, Brazil, founded in 1903.

History[edit | edit source]

The Galatians FC was the most famous and popular soccer team in São Paulo, in which their stadium is located. The team's most known player is Claudio, who, by 2012, was sent to play in Germany.

Claudio returned to Brazil in mid 2012. One night he was relaxing at the Club Moderno. At the same night, Fabiana and Marcelo Branco arrived the club too. During one of the parties held at the club, the Comando Sombra street gang attacked the club to kidnap Fabiana. Claudio tried to interfere, but unfortunately was shot dead.

The next day, Max Payne and Raul Passos arrived at the Estádio do Galatians to meet the Comando Sombra courier team in the center circle for exchange. But the exchange was ambushed by the Crachá Preto.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

  • The Tropa Z street gang is known for having many of its members as fans of the Galatians FC.
  • The Galatians are likely inspired by the Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (Corinthians) as both clubs are based in São Paulo and both are named after books in the New Testament. The club's emblem and some of the jersey designs closely resemble to the Rio de Janeiro based Fluminense Football Club (Fluminense).
