Template:CharacterInfobox Corcoran (pronounced as Template:'cork-run) is a member of the Inner CircleTemplate:'s camp affiliated with Alfred Woden. Shortly after the beginning of the cleaner case in 2003, he becomes a victim of Vladimir Lem's Cleaners, despite Max Payne and Mona Sax's attempts to save him.

Behind the scenes

It can be assumed from the swiftness of the Cleaner operation that the civil war within the Inner Circle took place not long before the start of Max Payne 2, as even Mona (Woden's top henchman) was unable to react in time. Many other residents of Corcoran's apartment also show surprise at the Cleaner's appearance, although it is unknown how many of them were also part of the Inner Circle.
