Casa di Angelo

Casa di Angelo is a restaurant owned by Angelo Punchinello, where he agrees to meet Max Payne but decides to burn the place down with Payne trapped inside.

It is a very large restaurant, consisting of a dining area and bar, many kitchens and lounges, and an underground sewer tunnel acting as an escape route.

Behind the scenes

• Casa di Angelo translates from Italian as 'Angelo's House' or 'Angelo's Place'. Angelo can also be translated as Angel, meaning the name could be intended to mean 'The House of Angels'.
• In the movie Goodfellas, two Mafia wiseguys burn down their own restaurant similar to Angelo's in Max Payne, but not for the same reason.
