Boris Dime was once a loyal member of the Russian mob. He has then betrayed Vladimir Lem and the Russians, and crossed over to the Punchinello crime family.

Death

By 2001, Boris Dime is the captain of the cargo ship Charon, that holds up various weapons.

Vlad then makes a deal with Max Payne. He will give weapons to Max, only if he will find and kill Boris Dime - Max accepts the deal.

Max enters the cargo ship, kills a dozen of mobsters, and finally comes into Dime's room. Angelo Punchinello phones Dime, but hears Max instead, who taunts the Italian mob boss.

Max then kills some more mobsters until he finds Dime, armed with his powerful shotgun. Dime attacks Max, but is killed by his assailant.

Trivia

  • In the graphic novel, Boris is shown holding an AK-47 which is incorrect not only because he actually holds a shotgun, but also because the weapon is not even present in the game.
