For this weapon as it appears in Max Payne 2, see Kalashnikov.
"The AK-47 is a great weapon due to its ease of use and durability. Stat-wise, it's a little heavy. But it's a well-balanced weapon and a great choice to take into any battle."
―Social Club description

The AK-47 is an assault rifle in Max Payne 3.

Overview[]

The Kalashnikov makes a return in 3 as the AK-47, this time modeled on the original Soviet design instead of the Chinese Type 56.

Once again, it is a reliably accurate and high-powered assault rifle favored by criminal elements in both New Jersey and São Paulo.
