Tous les jeux Max Payne sont rétro-compatibles sur la quatrième console de Microsoft.
La machine incorpore un système de succès permettant d'obtenir des points (nommé Gamescore) en accomplissant des tâches prédéfinies par les développeurs. Ils sont exactement les mêmes que ceux de la Xbox 360 ainsi que Xbox One et ils se cumulent avec ceux obtenus sur ces dernières.
